11/6/18

Reinecker, Donald, Arlington, VA – Wooden bowl handmade by Paul Devoe of Warrenton, VA.  Mr. Devoe is a retired nautical engineer.  His works are created from wood, cast aside, from trees that have naturally fallen.  His bowls are featured in shops in Northern VA and Richmond, VA, that specialize in artisans’ works.  This signed bowl is made of spalted (wood coloration caused by fungi) maple and finished with beeswax and mineral oil.  Paul sells his works and donates the proceeds to food banks in the Fauquier County, VA,  area.
